WIC
- Eligibility Guidelines
- Participants must be in one of the following categories
a. Pregnant woman
b. Breastfeeding woman
c. Postpartum woman to 12 months (if she’s breastfeeding)
d. Infants
e. Child under 5 years of age
- Meet income guidelines (see below) (185% of poverty
guidelines)
- Must be at nutritional risk
- Must be a California resident who works or resides in
Riverside County
*Families who qualify for Medi-Cal and Food Stamps
already meet the income qualifications for WIC.
*Working families can also qualify for WIC.

- All pregnant women are counted as 2
- Monthly taxes wages from LES are used for military
proof of income.
- Reenlistment bonuses are divided by 1/12 and that
1/12 is added to monthly tax.
- BAH and other allowances are not counted as income
